I, Nick, with quite a healthy dose of confidence and just a speck of pride, always feel that I am highly popular among the ladies. In fact, I always think myself to be a lady's man. What a rude awakening here. It has been my dream for the past week to get before the belly guy, #42, but the damn ranking is so constant. PPS: Seems the site staff thought I was spamming with the appeal above and removed my photo all together. No compassion or pity from those folks. Just when my ranking might start to climb, this happened. No break for poor me. But many tearful thanks from me all the same, ladies. Now it is impossible for me to drop behind the half naked guy (used to be #44, now #43 after my removal). I might be climbing up actually if not for the brutal removal. I need to change my perfectionist demand toward myself. I also need to be more patient with people, to remember ALL THE TIME that just like me, other people are mortal too, with their own preferences, limitations, shortcomings and flaws, that only God is perfect, whom I have yet to meet. Additionally, I need to always remember that life is short (at least for now, when it is still far from feasible to extract a dying man's soul from his brain mass in the form of digital data, and then plant them in another blank brain mass, therefore enable a soul to live on for ever. Though I have been deluding myself by thinking that I have transcend life and death, deep in my heart I do prefer to live to see that day), that I shall take things easy when they are not critical, and that I need to slow down and smell the rose from time to time.

2. Writing. I could've been a good writer, not of pop books like Harry Potter's, but of serious literature and philosophy. [There is no big money in this true talent of mine--excuse me for my vulgarity-- and it might've just been my self indulgence (please commend me for my restraint from im-moderation= . So I pursued a career path in technical business and then finance instead. Please excuse my vulgarity again, but presently I do wounder if the feel one gets doing transcendental meditation sitting on one billion dollars, a feel which I might very well never know (unless the US dollar is devalued, say, 99.9999999 percent), might be somehow different from doing that sitting on a stone inside a cave in the Himalayas, a feel which I do know. (There is little greed involved here. It might just be an temporary existential whim, one of many for any of us. It will be nice to experience it, but no biggie if we do not. Generally those that express the goodwill of people, love in particular, and those that describe the real human condition or the way the world works. Not interested in anything shallow, violent or vulgar. Presently, among my favorite singers of English language is Norah Jones, whose "Don't Know Why" is among the bests to me. "Scarborough Fair", both the Sarah Brightman version and the Simon & Garfunkel version, is also one of my favorites.

Another plus of TSOL is its deft avoidance of excessive goriness while masterfully conveying the extremeness of human behavior. While Lecter's talking of "I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti!" is actually riveting, I am underwhelmed when he actually dines on a man, even an evil one, in the sequel "Hannibal". After all, something is profoundly wrong biologically with cannibalism.

Presently investing is my dream job and I am having it. I have a technical background, but one year ago I phased out my IT contract business and started to invest in international finance market.
